Down & Derby PGH - Belvederes, Lawrenceville

YAY... Down and Derby is a serious that was started in here PGH and now it's taken its wings and now does monthly appearances in NYC, LA, & Vegas. I was apart of the first one a few years back and I'm glad to see it become so successful. On this particular night i got to rock with HANK D. Hank is a great dj with much music knowledge. Glad I could still get down with such a cool event. Thanks VINCE!!!

BONICS INTERVIEWS TANYA MORGAN

I got to interview DONWILL from Tanya Morgan an on the rise hip-hop crew who's members are natives of both Cincinatti and Brooklyn. I found out about this group a few years back by reading an article where ?uestlove dropped their name. I bought their cd "Moonlighting" and looked out for them ever since. Their new album is called Brooklynatti and promises to be another banger. I got to check them out when they opened for WALE at the Shadow Lounge and now their back for an encore show at the lounge. Yes indeedy I got to bring it up for the fam. It has been a while since I've to play in Philadelphia. I owe Philly so much as far as being brought up in an place where good Dj's just are. I use to love listening to all the banging DJ's on the the radio growing up - Touch Tone, Doc B, Excel, Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff. To many to name from Philly. Party was dope! Great to see my friends!

50 Finest Fiesta @ Elixer

My man David Hall from KDKA asked me to Dj at Elixer for one of his Cyctic Fibrosis 50 Finest event. This organization picks 50 single men and woman who are movers and shakers in PGH and surrounding area. I was chosen 2 years ago and was the third highest fundraiser in that year. CFF is a great foundation and I'm glad I could continue to support it.

Kenny Wood - Bonics, McFly, & 96.1 Kiss - 06/22/09

Yes!!! Kennywood PGH's classic amusement park!!! On this particular day Me and DJ Mcfly headed out to Kennywood for a 96.1 Kiss Broadcast. Mcfly on the Wheels and I'm on the m.i.c. Yes I said m.i.c. Rollercoasters, bumpercars, Swinshots, and a big banana. It's fun to be able to do a show outside the studio and interact with listeners. WOW... Especially Kennywood!!! GO if you havent't go back if you have. Don't let the summer pass with hittin' up Kennywood!!!

The Pittsburgh IMPROV - Guilda's Great Comic Search - 06/16/09

Wow... I always wanted to do stand up comedy. Not that I thought I was funny or anything but I just have experienced so many weird and quirky things that i would love to share with people. So I had my chance but buddy and comedian Matt Molchen invited me to host the Guilda's Club Great Comic Search. The Guilda's Club is an organization that provided soocial and emotional support that benefits anyone living with cancer - men, women, teens, children - and their families and friends. http://www.gildasclubwesternpa.org/ Not only did I host but they allowed me to do a total of 15 minutes of comedy. And I thought I did pretty good they invited me back to do more stand up... OHHHH the possibilities.... Thanks Matt Molchen, Shannon, Amy and the IMPROV staff!!!

LAS VEGAS - TRADER VIC'S AND DOWN AND DERBY - 06/12 -06/14/09

Yes... Sin City. Playing in Vegas is a dream no matter how big or small the gig. This is it... Disney World for adults. What can I say? It was a banging weekend. The first gig that i got to rock was at Trader Vic's in Planet Hollywood. Wasn't sure what this gig was going to be like but it as one of a kind. How many times in your life do you get to play on the Las Vegas strip the the fountain's of the Bellagio blasting off behind you tourist from all over the world walking by bobbing their head to the chunes that your rocking... Big shout out to my big bro DJ DDouble. I also got to rock the soon to be world famous Down and Derby. Started in PGH and now has grown legs in NYC, LA, and Vegas. It's a hot roller skating party where fashion and music reign. I'm talking about a funky dressed rollerskating good time. I got to rock the spot with PGH's DJ Nugget and Dj Shred from VEGAS... Thank to all who made it possible - (JUDE, MARGE, SARAH, DDOUBLE, DAWAN, WICKED, JOE GOOD, NUGGET, VINCE MASI, AND DJ SHRED)
